Our Environment

We are located in Bocairent on the northwest slope of the Natural Park of Sierra Mariola. A beautiful landscape in which we grow our olive trees for more than 3 generations and where our old oil mill was located at the beginning of the 20th century.

The surface of the term is very mountainous, with a small sector at the centre less wavy. The main heights are: Alt de Mariola (1158 m), Pico de Aguila (961 m), Xar (1093 m), Sant Jaume (956 m), Portí (1081 m), Masarra (659 m) and Alto de la Cruz (956 m).

The Clariano and Vinalopó rivers are born within the term. On the hill of Sant Jaume is the watershed between the two rivers. Drains the ravines of Infern, Fos, Foieta and la frontera.

The weather is continental, the most frequent winds are those of the south and east. The latter is the one that causes the rains, usually from January to April and snow in January and February. This climatology seems adverse, but is optimal for the cultivation of our olive trees.

About Bocairent

With a strong presence of Arab past, it also has a fantastic history contrasted by archaeological remains found in the Paleolithic, Neolithic, Iberian and Roman periods.

The long history of the town make Bocairent an appreciated tourist destination where you can discover its fascinating history to visit the innumerable vestiges that make up its DNA.

Its three emblematic hermitages stand out, the Parish Church of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción, many museums such as the Archaeological and Paleontological, the medieval neighbourhood, the bridges and aqueducts or its incredible natural spaces like the Natural Park of Sierra Mariola.
